The 4-Hour Workweek review – Is it really so helpful?

My book review in one sentence: “What I love about The 4-Hour Workweek is the determination that Tim Ferris shows to defend the lifestyle he has got, and the incredible amount of tools he gives you so you can try to achieve the same lifestyle if you’d like to – Luis G.”

1. A NEW SECTION TO ENJOY IN FREENANCIAL EXPOSED.

Yes, this is a new section in Freenancial Exposed. I’m really excited about sharing with you my thoughts about the books I’m reading. But I hope this is not all. It would be great if you share your opinion about the book with me and all the community, or if you suggest me a book to read or review. I’ll try to read it as soon as possible and come back here with my opinion about it.

WHY DO I START THE BOOK SECTION WITH THE 4-HOUR WORKWEEK REVIEW?

I’d like to tell you that starting the section with this book is not by accident. I want to launch our book section with this particular one because it has changed not only my life but Vale’s life as well. As you can read on the resources page,  it was after I read this book that I decided to hire a virtual assistant, and that was the way Vale and I met some years ago. And I’m sure that, without this book, Freenancial Exposed wouldn’t exist as we know it today.

2. MY PERSONAL REVIEW.

It was two years ago when I was talking with Alex, another entrepreneur, and I was telling him that all my business at that time was depending too much on me. I was exhausted and I felt that I had reached the ceiling for my business if I continued managing like that.

Then, he told me: “I just finished to read a book that is going to help you a lot with that”. And he was totally right.

MINDSET, ADVICE, AND TOOLS FOR GETTING MORE FREEDOM.

In The 4-hour workweek, Tim Ferriss explores the mindset and the tools you are going to need to achieve financial freedom as soon as possible. It gives you a lot of information and practical content on how to GTD and free more time for you.

When you start reading the 4-Hour Workweek you have a mix of feelings. You are excited because you can see so many tools, that you believe you have everything to make your life better right away. At the same time, you are a little bit worried because you feel you are too far from the lifestyle Tim Ferriss is showing you. That maybe that is not for you. Even you can be thinking that Tim’s lifestyle is too extreme, that you don’t really want to go that far.

But thinking all of that is ok because one of the most important things about The 4-Hour Workweek book is that makes you think a lot about the life you actually have, the mistakes you’re making, and the actions you could start to change that.

Being busy is a form of laziness–lazy thinking and indiscriminate action – Tim Ferriss – “The 4-Hour Workweek” – https://freenancialexposed.com/4hour Clic para tuitear

This doesn’t mean that the book it’s perfect, and more important, that everybody could do the same things Tim Ferriss describe in it. And that could be the point that could make you doubt more about. Is this book only useful for the people that want to “clone” Tim Ferriss lifestyle?

OTHER PEOPLE EXPERIENCES.

Well, Tim Ferriss had still an ace up his sleeve… and it’s  “social proof”. Throughout The 4-Hour Workweek book, Tim shows you countless stories from other people that, following book pieces of advice, changed their lives in some way. And that’s the important thing: “in some way”.

Because is very important to discover that you just can have some of the advice, the one that suits you better or It’s closer to your actual situation, and then implement it in your life. Sometimes one small change is enough to feel great results. Sometimes that small change is the first of a series of consecutive small changes that can make your life be totally transformed.
